Nottingham in a Tudor Tent : )

Posted on Aug 12th, 2009 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
Always delightful to sojourn again to my Nottingham family but this is the first time we pulled out the Tudor Tent and erected it in their very small garden (to accommodate my being here along with Freddie grandson).

Fabulous, awesome, magnificent!! We set it up as darkness was falling. I awoke this morning to the sight of (much beloved) 'Harebells' in the grass inside the tent canvas, which, to answer Meenakshi's question, are pale blue, and similar to Bluebells but more delicate  (see picture). I love that I only ever saw them growing wild in Scotland. But then I found them wild in Wounded Knee, South Dakota.

Going back in time! I can just see those long flowing gowns…ah yes, in the background. Corrina, what's a harebell?
