In Which Pooh Bear Pulls grelf out of the Mist

Posted on Oct 3rd, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
Yesterday (Oct 2nd) we entered our lowest ebb awaiting this new girl-child we have 'expected' since about the September 10th, with a fair certainty that by or on the 16th, she would come. We know she is well and well-placed. We are of one heart-mind about her schedule being appropriately the dominant one.

Then, with my flight date edging ever closer and a plane ride that will take me 6,000 miles away to my other home, the pressure inside us, the mother and the grandmother, builds and builds, even as we hold Her timing sacred.
dandelion clock and grass up close

Now ALL is ready and more than ready, mother lies awake in the night wondering; what can this be, what more to think of, what more to address, what more to complete, pay attention to...? And in the morning we speak of it and here comes the upwelling of an old grief; me, a babe in arms, literally at the breast, when my big sister trotted off to paddle in the pond with all the other children on one astonishingly hot day in England... and fainted in the heat.. and went unnoticed in the sea of wading children..

I have long identified and understood the complexities of the dynamic that was set up from this scenario. My father, newly arrived on the Common (Wimbledon) to join his family on an exceedingly rare picnic day, has barely greeted my mother with a kiss when he is drawn to the pond to see what the commotion is. My sister (7) is dragged from the pond unconscious. Someone has summoned the ambulance. My father delivers the curt news to my mother with me at her breast and goes, with an unmoving, limp child in the ambulance.

Thus my mother's horror and grief seared through my little body and set up a dynamic I went on to play out again and again through the days of my life: what do you do when you have two things precious, separate in space and time? Can you be there for them both, (them all)? Can you be there at the right time? Can you know exactly where you'll be needed???

Oh the irresolute agony of that asking, an asking that had no resolution... because my sister was dead.

Now I weave a life out of that journey, and resolution has come in tiny and monumental ways. Yet still, this new girl-child in her lingering has precipitated one engulfing wave of that old story, as my own daughter and I find our way with these ever expanding parameters we call reality.

October 2nd 2008, dipped me into the mist of that old grief and the day was marked with welling tears even in the midst of exquisite Minnie time. Granddaughter Minnie has just turned two, was born on Matriot Day, and the quality of her being makes me quiver with delight bordering on ecstasy, all in a moment, most every day. So into grelfy's misty self-place Minnie pushes a book with that insistence only two-year olds know how, and grelfy must read.. Pooh Bear, bump bump, bump...:
pooh bump bump bump

"Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it... (so then Pooh (Edward) Bear goes on this big honey-seeking adventure I am sure you know, until he has the misadventure of falling out of the tree into a very prickly gorse bush...; Ow, ow; "Oh help"):

"He crawled out of the gorse-bush, brushed the prickles from his nose, and began to think again. And the first person he thought of was Christopher Robin.
("Was that me?" said Christopher Robin in an awed voice, hardly daring to believe it.
"That was you"
Christopher Robin said nothing, but his eyes got larger and larger, and his face got pinker and pinker...)"

So this is one place in the story in which A.A. Milne depicts the child amazed that he, little him, could be important to someone else..

I wake on the morning of October 3rd and my eyes alight for the first time on a little old paperback on the shelf not two feet from my morning eyes; 'The House At Pooh Corner'. I pull it from the shelf and open it in that breathless way, knowing it is linked somehow to yesterday's lingering Christopher Robin moment with Minnie. I read A.A. Milne's Dedication for the first time:

You Gave me Christopher Robin, and then
You breathed new life into Pooh.
Whatever of each has left my pen
Goes homing back to you.
My book is ready and comes to greet
The mother it longs to see -
It would be my present to you, my sweet,
If it weren't your gift to me.

Reading this was breathtaking because yesterday I did my Craigslist 'Gigs' sweep that I do periodically for swelling income streams and I swept through San Francisco, Nottingham, and London Craigslist. And there in London Gigs, presumably posted by San Francisco Bay Area Cami and/or crew (?), was an invitation to 29-Days of Giving Challenge.. I didn't realize I was looking at it through my mist, even as I registered on some level that Cami was a radiant character... I turned and left, as though I hadn't seen.. but then, with a momentary enormous effort I noticed what just happened, and I turned again.. and signed up for the Challenge and the lifting, lifting of the mist began from there.. Lifting.. Gifting

"Give one thing away each day for 29 days. Why? Because to see your world change, you have to DO something to change your world."

Declaring Proclamation Day

Posted on Oct 5th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
HEARTHEAD LINES
A CHILD IS ARRIVING
a celebration (marzipan!) baby

BIRTH IS IMMINENT!
This morning we bring tidings of great joy to family, tribe and nether regions.
In Nottingham City, close to the back of the Castle Wall, the imminent emergence of a girl-child is upon us.

(to be sung in a princely manner..):
"Today was just an ord~din~nary day for me..
life went on the same as days before.....
Then suddenly along the way for me..
came the love I'll love forever more...."

Stay tuned for further NEWS

FOOTNOTE for those who emerged after a certain era:
Once Upon a Time, NEWS was something that was made, not in the wee hours of the morning (from whence pure positive form is wont to arise) but in the threadbare smoky annals of sheetrock blocks. Thus the People were alarmed in the morning (by their funny little clocks and then by the so-called 'News'

This was of course, as we all know, a very temporary vibrational indicator of the stuck-needle of Disarray-distress. We are blessed to know that you either did not live through the entire immense sludgery of that time OR you kept enough of a flickering candle lit to Know that something was seriously amiss with that framing of reality.... and thus you are numbered amongst the ones who have pulled on the shimmering thread of Re-membering that swiftly restores us to Wholeness ~ thank you for MAKING NEWS; thank you for uttering your awesome wor(L)ds into Being.

WONDER HAT MARK II
These Hats are inspired by newborns entering our planetsphere. They are recognizable by the Wonder Doll who sits atop. Wonder Dolls are descendants of Worry Dolls since, in the course of conscious evolution, it was grokked that it is far far better to Wonder than the worry.. So then, right down to those tiniest of dolls, Every Body in the Realm was ultimately wholly RELIEVED of worrying (what a blessed Relief!)

This is My American Prayer

Posted on Oct 12th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
I copy & paste verbatim.... (With Deep Appreciation to Dave Stewart for uttering his deep heartwords).
American Prayer - Dave Stewart (Barack Obama Music Video)

AMERICAN PRAYER SONG on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZ...

FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT SONG
http://www.myamericanprayer.com

DAVE STEWART WRITES:
"Earlier this year when I was recording American Prayer, a song I originally co-wrote with Bono, the phrase, "When you get to the top of the mountain, remember me" seemed to take on a whole new resonance, given the inspirational candidacy of Barack Obama. The song always contained one of my favorite passages from Dr. King, which was hauntingly delivered the night before he was assassinated. King says: "I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land!"

People long for a connection— whether it is to music, to their country, or to a big idea. Regardless of what happens in November, Senator Obama has reminded millions of people that they have the power to connect to bigger ideas. He is, in essence, the embodiment of a new anthem for change. He has continued King's narrative from what was once thought of as a dream to a reality. I find it especially relevant that Barack Obama will accept the Democratic Party Nomination for President 45 years to the day of King's "I Have a Dream" speech.

When we were originally writing the song, Bono was crafting the words in a way that would make people think about the fact that 'America' as a concept was a truly great idea, based on the bedrock of equality. I find it more pertinent than ever to release it now; to the moment America finds itself in, daring to re-imagine itself and its place in the world.

When I set out to make a video for the new version of this song, I wanted to honor all of those millions of people, especially young people, who are, for the first time, feeling empowered to voice their beliefs. I wanted to capture how Obama's message of change has echoed across the broad fabric of what is America.

To do that, we've cast the film with an eclectic array of personalities, including Forest Whitaker, Jason Alexander, Whoopi Goldberg, Cyndi Lauper, Barry Manilow, Joan Baez, Macy Gray and Joss Stone.

They appear alongside veterans, teachers and everyday citizens— all of whom have been touched by this simple idea of change. As an Englishman, I'm not an expert in all the intricate details of American politics.

But as an artist, I understand how rare it is to inspire a connection to a bigger idea or purpose. This video isn't so much an endorsement of Barack Obama as much as it is a celebration of all those who have picked up a sign, who have registered to vote and are working to make the world a better place. So as Senator Barack Obama ascends to the mountain top, let us not forget all of the others who for the past 40 years have sung anthems of change to make this moment possible. "

LYRICS

This is my American Prayer
This is my American Prayer

This is the time to finish what you started
And this is no time to dream
This is the room
We can turn off the dark tonight
Maybe then we might see

American Prayer
American Prayer

And this is the ground
That keeps our feet from getting wet
And this is the sky over our head
And what you see depends on where you stand
And how you jump will tell you where you're gonna land

American Prayer
American Prayer

My oh my
Couldn't get much higher
Lets not kick out the darkness
Make the light brighter

And these are the hands
What are we gonna build with them?
This is the church you can't see
Give me your tired, your poor and huddled masses
You know they're yearning to breathe free
This is my American Prayer
American Prayer
American Prayer

When you get to the top of the mountain
Will you tell me what you see
If you get to the top of the mountain
Remember me

Welcome Welcome, Holly May

Posted on Oct 12th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
Tuesday October 7th ~
2.26am; Maggi Moon text to Corrina: "First shooting star. Sleeping out while u guys assist with delivery?"
2.28am; Corrina to Maggi: "Wish, Wish"
2.35am; Maggi Moon replies: "Seen about five shooting stars in last 30 mins. I wished on them that the baby be born soon gracefully. This or something better for the highest good of all concerned."

Exactly one hour later; 3.30am, Sleeping Ninya feels a full-on bearing down contraction.. and.. Pop! ...the waters break...

Ninya's instincts are superb; it's going very fast she says. Magnitude of intensity onset leaves no room for doubt. Each wave is utterly consuming/demanding. This child has been preparing for days turned into weeks. So straight to the birthing unit where help is at hand if needed, even as this Mother's Birthing Plan contains hands-off wish unless something is amiss.

Give it everything you've got. The gripping that heralds the crowning head demands nothing less. Monumental physical marathon relayed in primal vocal deliverance. Head crowns, baby emerges, out in one unbroken sweep, between the legs; into Mother's encircling arms.

It's 4.30am. For the second time, Mother Ninya has pulled off her 'Stand & Deliver' birthing spectacular. Cord is left intact. Baby is put to the breast; both sides, one full hour. Placenta delivered at 5.30am*..

And we four, the mother, the father, the grandmother, and the night staff midwife stand in awe.. what else to do in the presence of perfection... in Awe at The Newly Arrived. WELCOME WELCOME, HOLLY MAY...
Holly wiki image 240px-Ilex-aquifolium Europaeische Stechpalme-1

Hawtorn May Tree

"It's what we wanted." said the child's father.
"It's everything we wanted." said the child's grandmother.
And the mother just smiled without words as she sank back into the pillows, her awesome nightwork done.

After our weeks of expecting this babe to be born any minute now.. now.. now.. now.... Ninya, of a sudden, delivered in ONE HOUR. Even as I write "one hour" I am acutely aware that I in no way want to diminish the MAGNITUDE of that time period: It was an IMMENSE HOUR of physical intensity, the like of which we do not wish upon anybody lightly. Nevertheless, Ninya gave birth, like the legendary women of Samoa, who do not 'labor' before giving birth because it is not in their lexicon to do so. She just GAVE BIRTH.

My own mother, born and raised in the Biblical (King James) tradition, gave birth to 7 children "in sore Travail" (hard, hard births, long, long labours), then, years later when I was going through a primal healing journey with her, I watched as her eyes flew open with the realization: it did not have to be that way; it was just the way we were taught: "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children" King James Bible

I do believe, O Joy, that we have successfully emerged in our lineage from this former belief system.

And so we are complete, one month after I arrive for the birth and just 24 hours before my Trans-Continental return flight to California; 11th Hour Miracle. We marvel as we realize that this child is born one month older than her big sister was at birth!!

FOOTNOTE RE PLACENTA DELIVERY - Ninya gives birth in a high intervention unit because of a rare blood condition;she might, just might, experience excessive bleeding in the birthing process. So she writes out her "Birth Plan" with her express wish that the hospital staff observe a hands-off policy unless urgent medical intervention becomes necessary.

We have learned that a "Retained Placenta" in such cases can quickly become serious cause for alarm, the concern being (we were told the first time round) that the newly delivered mother may be bleeding to death inside with no outwards signs..

This creates one of those  challenging siuations where, the medical staff want to err on the side of extreme caution, whereas we want every chance to complete delivery without major intervention/disruption (general anasthetic/surgical removal). As it was, the Placenta was delivered by Mother Ninya, using every trick we didn't know last time and they certainly weren't acquainted with.... (Clary Sage compress, big drinks of water, focus, visualize... push!!) With the delivery of the Placenta came great tears of relief that this so precious completion would not be taken out of her hands. Now you understand why we must include the Placenta delivery in the Grand Birth Story!!

Newborn Holly May in her nut-brown maiden Wonder Hat

Holly May's Wonder Hat with 'Nut-brown Maiden' Wonder Doll atop: (descendant of Worry Dolls, Wonder Dolls know that it's always better to Wonder than to worry...).
nut brown maiden close up

So she arrived almost a month later than we expected her but Mother Ninya (daughter of Corrina) said months ago that this baby had TREE energy, she could feel it... and I guess that accounted for her s*l*o*w~ness... Then when came time to make her Wonder Hat, the little Wonder Doll that forms atop came out as the Nut-brown maiden (Holly May's Scottish great-grandfather, Corrina's father's song)..
AND HERE SHE IS!!!!
A whole month OLDER than her big sister was AT BIRTH!! Hence she barely looks newborn (after initially cherry-red post-birth minutes!)...

Ho ro my nut-brown maiden,
Hee ree my nut-brown maiden,
Ho ro ro maiden,
for she's the maid for me

Her eye so mildly beaming,
Her look so frank and free,
In waking or in dreaming,
Is evermore with me.

And when the blossoms laden
Bright summer comes again;
I'll fetch my nut-brown maiden
Down from the bonnie glen...

...And her name came out as 'Holly May' (two trees: Holly and Hawthorn May).....

I'm in that 'honeymoon' period of feeling blissed out with my new baby and lovely family, only I choose for it to be more than a passing faze...Minnie was very happy to help bath Holly this morning and then to have her sit with her for a photo."

Tuesday October 7th: My last full night in England, such a tender, tender evening as we do our very best to ALLOW for the possibility that Corrina flies before babe delivers. We 3, mum, dad and me, go off to bed at midnight with last and double backward glances of extreme longing (whilst having surrendered to best possible outcome of course.....!!)

This morning Minnie and I went out with Holly in the pram to Sainsburys and fed the ducks on the way. It was raining so Minnie was wearing her {very favorite} bug coat and the ducks were plentiful, flappy and quacky, all of which delighted Minnie.

Going round Sainsburys we got lots of nice comments about the pram and then we sat down in the coffee shop and shared a chocolate muffin, Minnie had a minature (expresso) china mug just like my big one, again all these things delighted her.

She has her fragile moments with the baby, usually when she is tired at the end of the day and can't accept me holding Holly or cooking or doing something other than giving her a cuddle, but aside from that she has been really joyful and full of beans which is a delight to behold!

That's all for now!

Love,
Ninya

2019 AD: (Superstuct Reality... ) Of Crows & Ghost Dances

Posted on Oct 17th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
800px-crowwastebag

So this never happened before.. right outside our window in the early morning, a Crow; caw caw cawing... I am still sleeping and it enters me as an alarm...alarming. With our "Ravenous" Superthreat leaning heavily upon us, my Crow is doing the screaming -hungry CAW.

800px-CrowWastebag

It left me rattled and I came into full wakefulness bothered by the Ghost Dances again. I don't think much or often about the fact that the Ghost Dances have started up again but when I do it's kind of haunting for sure.

I jumped on my bike to go swim in the ocean (one of my very best ways to shake stuff off). As I went to pull my lock from my bag, one of our precious glass Mason jars 'jumped' out and smashed all over the ground.... I AM spooked.. In the end I don't exactly swim in the ocean. I flail about yelling and roaring at the top of my lungs (crashing surf is just great for that kind of auditory privacy and you don't even look weird!!).  That's what it took to restore some kind of equilibrium. So the world will end in 2042 or 2070 but at least the ocean has its same awesome restorative powers.

*~*~*~~* "Some of the many vocalizations that crows make are a "caw", usually echoed back and forth between birds, a series of "caws" in discrete units, counting out numbers, a long caw followed by a series of short caws (usually made when a bird takes off from a perch), an echo-like "eh-aw" sound, and more....Loud, throaty "caw-aw-ah"'s are usually used to indicate hunger or to mark territory. 2019 AD (Superstruct) Tomorrow Never Comes

Posted on Oct 17th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
They used to say 'tomorrow never comes' and that The Future is No Thing; that niether exists..

Yet all the while, we were crafting both of these.. And overmuch with our battlegrounds of despair.

Then we stirred, stirred into astonishing wakefulness; Real-eyez-Zing...: The Future Is Now!! And 'Tomorrow' is a name we give to that which is already created in vibrational escrow; by our thoughtforms, by our complicated human-weevilings(!)
Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow....inevitably, inextricably, inexorably Coming Our Way: Collide or Merge we must!!

Year 2019 (Superstruct) Algae Ponds in England

Posted on Oct 19th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine

Algae (Aphanizomenon flos-aqua) cultivation ponds, have taken England by storm, dramatically altering the Island's ability to feed itself.

The first experimental hydroponic Algae ponds were cultivated in woodland clearings in the Home County of Surrey. Surrey has always been counted as one of the 'greenest' counties in all of England, primarily for its trees and, even through the widespread devastation of the 20th century, retained an impressive proportion of semi-natural ancient woodland. But now "green" takes on a whole new meaning as leading edge hydroponic techniques make it possible to rapidly replicate these flourishing Algae ponds around the country.

The Algae ponds are a terrific breakthrough in the current food crisis that has lately kept the populace of the British Isles on high alert. The Algae of course can be ingested in its pure form but more delightful is that it is being used as a fertilizer on all kinds of vegetables and herbs with phenomenal results, akin to the 20th century immortalized Scotland's Findhorn.

your leafy feet

As spectacular as the Algae-fed plants appear, the true benefit is the soaring nutritional profile. During the 20th century and even through the Millennium, U.S. government commodity food destined for Native American Indians was so bad, contributing to unprecedented diabates and obesity, that they called it 'the last genocide of the Indians'. It's important to note though that 'dead food' was the order of the day across the board. It's a wonder anyone made it this far. The importance of live enzymes in food was not common knowledge.

Enzyme-rich food then, finding its way happily on to the English table via the usual local market channels and integral to familiar favourites, could transform the health and wellbeing of the Nation in short order. I can't help thinking we are making history/making herstory.. right now. We are living through an epochal moment in time, worthy of the telling for generations to come.

Year 2019 (Superstruct) Olfactory Liberation Front

Posted on Oct 21st, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
She is 2 years old and she comes home with her dad from her (big deal for her) 3-hour stint away at her fine little “circus school down the road” (bow to Daniel Quinn for helping herald in these wondrous Community Thrival Centres for Kids)…; she trots over to her mother sitting at the table, and scrumples the hem of her mother’s dress up to her little nose.. and literally quivers with the delight of her return to home and comfort people/places.

I remember the first time I smelled a rose that smelled like cardboard; the smell of desolation. I know the smell of a lettuce you want to bury your face in; that’s what I’m talking about.

I remember in Poisonwood Bible, the returning U.S offspring, raised in Africa, are deeply disturbed by the throat-catching chemical smells in the supermarkets, and the lack of smells where there should be information-rich aromas.

And I remember my Scottish grandmother at the ironing board, newly washed workshirt in hand, her wry smile to her daughter, pining for her man. Grandmother throws husband’s shirt to wife; “Take a shnook o’ that!!”  That smell of him…; glorious!

Do you realize you breathe differently when things smell right??!! “If it don’t smell right, Don’t Trust it!!!”

Smelling Right comes back to one of the most basic of basics: Trust with a capital ‘T’.

And speaking of T, the whole refugee scene right now is distilling the remembrance that the funny English Tea ritual at the core, is a place where you smell out - become aware of not through the senses but instinctively what is UP

Now, often people equate
smelling out with a problem: "I sense his hostility"; "I smell trouble"; "smell out corruption..”  But there’s another kind of smelling out  that goes on with shared cups of tea.. And it is that quiver kind of smelling, like my 2-year old.

This smells right; you pick up the scent, you get the drift, you catch the Air of….. (what you were hoping for). And then, it really is in essence, Trust, taking communion (together) finding yourself on common ground…, like Three Cups of Tea..

cup-of-tea

http://www.threecupsoftea.com/  ~~~~~ Trust just smells right.

NOTE: "Let's have a nice cup of tea.." image & English cultural story from : http://thursdaysgirl.wordpress.com/2008/04/20/let%E2%80%99s-have-%E2%80%9Ca-nice-cup-of-tea%E2%80%9D/

Olfaction
Olfaction (also known as olfactics or smell) refers to the sense of smell. This sense is mediated by specialized sensory cells of the nasal cavity of vertebrates, and, by analogy, sensory cells of the antennae of invertebrates. For air-breathing animals, the olfactory system detects volatile or, in the case of the accessory olfactory system, fluid-phase chemicals... Olfaction, along with taste, is a form of chemoreception. The chemicals themselves which activate the olfactory system, generally at very low concentrations, are called odors. (from Wikipedia, the free (Yea!) encyclopedia)

Posted on Oct 23rd, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine

"Seňor Don Gato was a Cat. He went up onto a roof to read a love letter.

Senor Don Gato

The Lady Cat was nice and fat and white. There's wasn't another cuter kitty in the town or the city (meow meow meow!).

Fat White Lady Cat
Don Gato jumped very happily on the roof (so happy about his love letter) and he fell off and broke his knee, his rib and all his whiskers and his little solar plexus. The doctors were surely on the run to see what could be done but despite everything they tried nothing could save Seňor Don Gato and so D.G. died. The funeral passed through the market square, such a smell of fish was in the air and even though D.G. was dead the smell of fish brought him back to life. HE BECAME RE~ANIMATED!!

 THE END
footnote: the moral of this story is you never know what might happen (anything is possible)

From Him To Her To Us: E pluribus unum (Year 2019 Superstruct)

Posted on Oct 23rd, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine

Yes We Can, Yes We Can, Yes We Can (3 Times)

STEALTH: the action of doing something slowly, quietly;  (“No trumpets will sound….destiny is made known silently”)

 COUP: A brilliantly executed stratagem; a triumph. A coup d'état .

230px-OvalMedallion

Tell me one pundit who could have predicted Michelle in the Oval Office in 2012, and in for an 8 year term.  And who would have thought, after such a long and weary road for women that Michelle Obama would go down in history, not primarily as the first woman (let alone black woman!) President (though she was!!) but as the Presidential stealth candidate; swept to power by the Airillions (grassroots groundswell) Conscience Coup.
Popularly referred to as the ‘whispering coup’, nothing happened until the day it did. The citizens of the USA simply side-stepped the white noise of the usual political campaigning, went to the polling booths and quietly e pluribus unum..; singly collectively voted Michelle for President…. to follow her husband’s Presidency, succinctly bringing about the most astonishing presidential election result in the entire history of this young Democracy.

And, just as those 2012 voters were banking on…, the heady days of the Barack Obama “Yes We Can” Clan was well served by following up with  a President M. Obama’s administration.

Barack and his cabinet did a superb job in his term; and he was more truly connected continent-wide to the pulse of the people through Open-government http://cairns.typepad.com/blog/2007/11/barack-obama-un.html  - than any other President since the Founding Fathers. In the old way of thinking, there was no reason not to vote him in for a second term. But Destiny itself was being enlivened by the very success of Barack’s first term. This unprecedented Experiment in Democracy that had already taken a quantum leap was about to take not 1, but 2 more, as the Iroqouis Cenfederacy federal inquiry was set up on Michelle’s Watch.

In the event, the Obama’s serial Presidencies set the scene for something even more monumental and therefore the initial step; first Black President, slips even now, swiftly into an historical contextual mist as the Turtle Island Wisdom Keepers step from the shadows..

“We waited and watched where the shadows hung,
We knew for a thousand years you would come…”

Maybe history itself was waiting; just waiting.., for us to play out our Destiny. Did we institute some ancient rite of passage with our double vote of confidence, the one-two punch; Good Man, Good Woman… so that finally, at long last, we could arrive at  The 114th United States REGENERATIVE CONGRESS (2015-2017),

The 114th Congress was specifically charged in an historical referendum by direct consent of the electorate, to elevate the U.S. Constitution to its full potential by undertaking the noble task of identifying and incorporating the crucial missing components from the Iroquois Confederacy blueprint, which so profoundly influenced the original crafting of the Constitution.

As we have tuned to these proceedings in our Halls of Power over these past months, I have become convinced that this is ‘The Great Work’ of our generation.

 FOOTNOTE:
“The Iroquois Confederacy, also known as the "League of Peace and Power", and the "Six Nations” - In 2004 the U.S. Government acknowledged the influence of the Iroquois Constitution on the U.S. Framers.[14] The Smithsonian Institution also noted the similarities between the two documents, as well as the differences. One significant difference noted was the inclusion of women in the Iroquois Constitution, one group among many that the framers of the U.S. Constitution did not include.” Wiki

November 1st, 2019: Airillions Lything 10th Anniversary

Posted on Oct 24th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
November 1st, 2019: Airillions Lything 10thAnniversary

Airillion Iconic Representation: Sistine Chapel Ceiling (making the connection), painted by Michelangelo; exhibited to the public for the first time November 1st, 1512.

The first Airillions back in 2009 were by definition like the 20th century ‘originator Cultural Creative’; at first not fully self-aware, not fully grokking their tidal power to sweep away old structures, to move mountains…

For while the tired waves vainly breaking

Seem here no painful inch to gain

Far back through creeks and inlets making

Come silent flooding in the main..**

Drop by drop the parched terrain
drinks its fill, after sun,

Many stones to build and arch,
singly none, singly none,

And by union what we will

Can be accomplished still..

Drops of water turn the mill

Singly none, singly none

The Airil{1}ion WAVE took the better part of 2009 to build in consciousness to the point of epiphany-magnitude recognition. Airillions began realizing (real-eyez-Zing) that together they WERE the new BillionAIRes; not alone; singly, it simply could not Be, but together; only and always, all together… That is what creates the Great Wave Surge (GWS):

Following cognition of Airillions Lything** as a new paradigm phenomenon it was formally inaugurated on November 1st, 2009 and became a SUPERSTRUCTURE

*LYTHING – from the Gifting root; tithing/kything

Tithing: at its best; a believer giving a percentage willingly to their higher power through ongoing ritual offering. At its worst, an enforced tax or extracted regular sum

Kything: intentional remote upliftment of another through highest & best principals -
“I am Present for Myself, I am Present for Source (All-That-Is/Biosphere), I am Present for …………… (Name intended Recipient)

See also your friendly Wiki interpretation at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kything

Lything/Lything up
limbering up our Giving & Receiving muscles

Lithe - Marked by effortless grace; pliant; flexible; limber [syn: lithesome, supple, sylphlike]

“Lithe and lucid, unshackled, I’m giving you a dance of freedom, showing you the Whole of Me” (from the elfin Realms, circa 1988)

Airillions Anniversary song:

Airillions Lything flood the plains

These are the new Wave Market gains

We swell We surge… incoming tide

Currency Power Flow Joy Ride..
repeat.. repeat.. repeat..!!

With a decade of Airillion Lything already swept by, I thought it had reached the stage where I couldn’t tell you how many Lythings (Surge Waves) I have personally precipitated but then I realized I could arrive at a ballpark figure because within one year of my first Lything I was regularly precipitating a Lything 2 to 3 times per month.

Remember, this is a “Six(6) Pass”, so of course amounts to a $12 to $18 ‘Give’ each month. The reason why I established a practice so easily was because designating $6 increments actually creates ‘Found money’, sort of like Bill McDonough designing an indoor stream in an eco-building and suddenly there’s frogs and butterflies; where did they come from??!! Out of No Where!! Then; All Hail To No Where (from Whence all manner of things can come – What The Bleep!).

Previous to my practice I counted myself among the masses who had ‘no money’ meaning never quite sufficient to cover all the bases so that I could turn my full happy attention to other more near and dear to my heart adventures. But the Lything literally generated a feeling of wealth, a new sense of wellbeing, of Enough, not to mention the two biggies; generosity & gratitude. Remember too that the 6th recipient is always Oneself (self-ping), which means you must regularly say nice things about yourself to yourself which is not funny; it’s profound. So there really wasn’t a downside and the whole thing took off like a rocket.

I know conservatively I have personally precipitated over 300 Lythings since I began, and that doesn’t count ones I was inspired to  by another Airillion’ s Six(6) Pass.

And… understand that each named recipient for my One Dollar Giving, then went on to receive upwards of $813,615.00 (or £s, depending.. in which Realm they abided..), by others being inspired to Give a further Vote of Confidence/added value $/£ to these same folk.

Airillions Lything
create aSurge Wave’ in one of two ways. Either by launching their own Six(6) Pass, or by being inspired by the Six(6) Pass AIRED by another. If the latter then the Airillion enacts the  Six(6) Pass, then drops the first Name and add their at the bottom.

A little aside here, that before Airillion Lything was a meme-on-fire, this part had a negative connotation for some people; Isn’t that just like those old chain letters? And Yes, but NO….: We couldn’t prove that categorically without A Decision to Experiment (what did we have to lose but the price of a Six-Pack or a yoga class?!) but we knew that the first real difference was the Value-Added (Vote of Confidence) WHYFORES about the intended recipients.

Turned out the real analogy was not chain letter but Daisy Chains; yes they ‘break’ sometimes, sometimes more than once … but you know what, it doesn’t matter; you still get a Daisy chain.. and it was never a chore, it was always for fun... just because we wanted to.

So Herewith, it being the 10th Anniversary of Airillions Lything, I share with you my first etched-in-stone Airillion Lything Six(6) Pass which now seems in the far distant past. What a journey we have come!!

MY VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN OUR PRECIOUS MARKETPLACE:

1. One Dollar Awarded to: Dune Lankard, Eyak Athabaskan, Eagle Clan from the Copper River Delta, Alaska... BECAUSE: Dune had a series of epiphanies about HOW to save/preserve/support all that we cherish, including that you have to come up with a way to sustain the human beings who protect/sustain and live off the natural world; Human Conservancy; conserving Humans; what a concept!!! Oh and a “FIRE FUND” to get money quick to where it’s needed (for natural world preservation), oh and because he is a natural Airillion; realizing early on that those 20th century so-called ‘non-profits’ were all going after the same little pots of money so the onus was on US to generate new avenues and sources. Amen!! http://www.redzone.org/NewPages/EPC/cultural-conservation-initiative.html

2. One Dollar Awarded to:

Thom Zajac, founder & editor, Santa Cruz Comic News & Thom Zajac's stationary, BECAUSE: Thom is a salt-of-the-earth/heart-of-gold local man who has never allowed us slack off or slumber when it comes to poor government and sad leaders..

3. One Dollar Awarded to:
Janine Benyus, Mother of ‘Biomimicry’ for being a beacon of fun and innovative perception right in the middle of the Millennium Dark Ages

Janine Benyus Biomimicry

Biomimicry (from bios, meaning life, and mimesis, meaning to imitate) the science that studies nature’s best ideas and then imitates these designs and processes to solve human problems. Studying a leaf to invent a better solar cell is an example of this “innovation inspired by nature. The core idea is that nature, imaginative by necessity, has already solved many of the problems we are grappling with. Animals, plants, and microbes are the consummate engineers. They have found what works, what is appropriate, and most important, what lasts here on Earth. This is the real news of biomimicry: After 3.8 billion years of research and development, failures are fossils, and what surrounds us is the secret to survival. http://www.biomimicryinstitute.org/natures-100-best/

4. One Pound Awarded to:

Maggi Moon Rose – solar engineer/installations; most notably for a Maori mother of 11 on Great Barrier Island!! But deeply deeply because she overcame her fear of sharing her singing-self before a Millennium crowd of 400 in Aotearoa, sang up the dawn more than once at our Wounded Knee Summer sustainable home-building camp and continues to pick up her guitar even in the moments when she feels like going back to the dolphins and leaving the human race far behind.

Maggi Rose Moon

5. One Dollar Awarded to:
Bioneers for their wry humor amidst devastation, for recognizing and honoring that the first true Bioneers of the Turtle Island were the First People, the First Nations, and in their humble acknowledgment of the truth, did open the necessary portal through which the First People could come and speak with us and now Iroquois Chief “You Are the environment” Oren Lyons  http://www.myhero.com/myhero/hero.asp?hero=o_lyons is on the Bioneers Board. All these are bridgewalkers, but Let It Be Known that Bioneers built a bridge from “our side” of the river. http://www.bioneers.org/about

bioneerslogo1

6. One Pound Awarded to:

GOOD GODALMING! for their brave launch of a local mag that celebrated and highlighted everything that is good about LOCAL, did it with panache, mirth and whimsy (incl. yellow duck mascot), and carbon-neutral to boot! They sent ripples of encouragement and appreciation and gratitude through the community and single-handedly restored the responsive gene to the old stick-in-the-mud-been-there-forever regional newspaper.

yellow duck

SO THAT WAS MY VERY FIRST SIX(6) PASS. I sent out my Six(6), dropped the first recipient, added my name to the bottom and there the Global Surge Wave (GSW) builds momentum: We Are the Economy (us), We Are the Currrency (us). That is a Vote of Confidence in the Marketplace (us).

Last sacred ritual. I take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate ME the Receiver (I write verbatim what I wrote in my journal back then): Because: you really really really want to carve out swathes of time when you can just BE, make music, sing, dance, dream..; we’re going to designate time/space for that; that’s what this pot is for

Moral Matrix Vote of Confidence

Posted on Oct 25th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
Jonathan Haidt 'moral matrix' ... profound... akin to Tom Atlee's (Co-Intelligence) thesis/wisdom; who said a few years back that the day he 'got' the liberal/conservative split was as huge as his mega shifts in the 70s on gender and race.

The paths that Are our secret places of magic and renewal were covered with Autumn leaves; unswept.. It is not sweeping they lack but us sweeping through in our shared joy trust love faith ecstasy; our Secret Garden (night dream while running a fever; flooding relief that it isn’t ReDS; it’s Hepatitius actually; relief a second time because it’s Hepatitus A (not C..)

Then to the Pancreas I say:

Come now; let us taste the sweetness of life, in our going out in the morning and our coming home in the evening, and all through the day. Let us taste and savor the sweetness, that our days may be rich and long upon the Earth. (I love and approve of myself and I alone create sweetness and joy in my life).

And to the Liver I say:

You are the Royal Seat of the Queen of Hearts: we live through the open space of our Heart and thus have found Love everywhere we looked (Lady-in-Waiting, Love she waits and Love is ever kind; She will not make a move until, you too are of One Mind…). Liver and Heart are Twinned.. in a powerful rich blood bond. Together, in open space, there is nothing they cannot do. Namasté

And to the Lymph we whisper:

Love, Life & Joy: These 3 are our children, our forebears, and those yet to be born. We, who had struggled, beleaguered; Be Still we whispered, and Listen, and Feel: All Is Well. It is Well.. Thank You O Life….Welcome O Life:

Yes We CAN: CAN {direct}: Community Agroecology Network

Posted on Oct 27th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine

I met Jeff at the Santa Cruz farmer's market. He introduced me to "CAN", a direct ethical ('fair' trading) initiative that cuts to the chase:

Conventional Coffee = 70c-$1.05 to the Farm/Plantation

Fair Trade = $1.31 - $1.51 to the Farmer Cooperative

CAN (direct) = $2.97 to the Costa Rica Cooperative

CAN - "working together to support small-scale farmers, protect the environment, and humanize global trade"

CAN Meet the communities

"Through my studies, I saw that a lot of the most egregious human rights abuses usually occur in places where commodity crops, like coffee, are considered more valuable than the people that grow them." Grace Voorheis, CAN Outreach Coordinator

CAN picture rotating 1

History
In 2001 during the height of the coffee crisis, founders Dr. Steve Gleissman and Robbie Jaffe began a journey to five farming communities throughout Central America and Mexico. In four of the communities that depend on the selling of coffee, the consequences of the coffee crisis were dire. Migration, deforestation, and hunger, threatened the fabric of rural life. Recognizing that these difficulties were better confronted together, CAN was founded to link farming communities throughout the region and consumers in the U.S. From the first few pounds of coffee brought back to friends and family grew a network of consumers purchasing coffee directly from the farmers. Building on the relationships between researchers and farmers that had in some cases been ongoing for decades, programs in participatory research and education grew to support their efforts in sustainable agriculture and direct marketing.
CANPlanningMtg07

"..While still studying at UC Santa Cruz, I had the opportunity to work with Rights Action in Guatemala City. I saw first hand the realities of modern day colonialism and the effects of free trade policy. I talked with rural farmers and cooperatives, the people most directly affected by unjust international trade. Upon my return from Guatemala, I choose to work with CAN because it answers many of the questions the farmers were asking." Karie Boone, Program Coordinator

A Birthday Post for My Brother-in-law James

Posted on Oct 28th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine

A long long time ago I gleaned that my old father had a problem with people celebrating his birthday. From my young and limited perspective I formed the erroneous belief that 'men' in general, did not appreciate having their birthdays create a stir (what my father would call 'making a fuss' or 'a waste o' money').

I know better these days, including that their was something much more profound going on in my dear Sire. Nevertheless, the vestiges of this early training remain, such that I have noticed it is often far more easy for me to apply whimsical imagineering to the birthdays of my female friends and sisters then for most of the men in my sphere.

19 years James has been my brother-in-law and I have never registered his birthday day. This year though, something about it seeped into me and this is what was born..

So to dear James let me say; I have cherished you along with your dear wife from the day I first met you. I fully celebrate the rich character that you are, the husband and father I saw when first I fell in love with your wife's brother, and the light in your eyes that plays through all the years of our changes and maturing. I will never forget the summer you both stepped out wearing the same t-shirt "Love See No Color!" May you look back from the 2020s and be deeply deeply satisfied with the Summer to Autumn Days of our  Lives.

Happy Birthday James!

May the Long Time Sun Shine Upon You

All Love Surround You

And the Pure Light Within You

Guide Your Way On

And Now (if he had let me embed it I would have but you have to go there!)... I Give You: Dance Me To The End of Love:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIdZ-rRnUkg&feature=related

{With special thanks to my sister Maggi who sent me the YouTube video in the first place, which succinctly coalesced my James' birthday celebrating thoughts into this!).

Lyrics (for everyone who has ever been afraid, for everyone whose Love has grown..):

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Oh let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Show me slowly what I only know the limits of
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the wedding now, dance me on and on
Dance me very tenderly and dance me very long
We're both of us beneath our love, we're both of us above
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the children who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now, though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safely in
Touch me with your naked hand or touch me with your glove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

(Leonard Cohen if you didn't know!)

Eyes Wide Open (soft and strong)

Posted on Oct 29th, 2008 by TimeToShine : Corrinacorrina TimeToShine
The prescriptions for eye-glass apparatus, that was already prolific in the Western world, due to excessive near work in poor light, went through the roof once we got our first flickering home computers. Computer-users were losing their perfectly squishy eyeballs and their peripheral vision, with all the staring straight into a backlight.

As our society advanced, we reached critical mass, with persons of every age engaged in daily activities directly correlated to chronic, excessive stress on the visual system. Then a greater ratio of
progressive deterioration  got accommodated as 'normal'; within a nornal range. And that in turn got propped up with 100s of over-the-counter drugs, prescription for eye-strain/stress and of course, glasses.

Thank goodness we had those amongst us who challenged such an assumption. It wasn't normal, it was a critical feedback loop.

Computer Eye Strain Eye Exercises

Our eyes were going rigid from holding them rigid(!); losing elasticity from all our weird unblinking staring day after day.. We had to incorporate eye muscle workouts; to enable circulation; blood flow.

With a renewed sense of the possible we engaged with these (fun) eye exercises and were rewarded with tangible results in short order; rigidity diminished.

We had to relax the eye muscles and strengthen the eye muscle. We had to remember to blink, and to smile. And we had to root out all those rigid beliefs that eyes just start deteriorating and there's nothing you can do about it. Every aspect herein named turned out to be an integral part of eye-sight ongoing wellbeing. It's  a gestalt; a whole new way of being behind our eyes.

Now our eye muscle workouts are as fully integrated into our daily round as cleaning our teeth...., as are our computers!.
